Thanks everyone!
Close the contest out a little better this time.
I have now finished archiving all the photos for judging. Between this website and GWO, there were over 530 submissions!! The next step from here is to contact my judges, and have them work on judging the submitted images. Just to let people know, this will probably take a while. With over 500 images to judge, don't expect this to be done in a week. While it would be nice, it's not really possible to ask that of other already busy people. There is some great news, though. Shan had mentioned earlier that we were able to increase our prizes by adding 10 extra prizes of 4 ecto each... Well we've decided to buff it even more. The 10 extra prizes will be extended to 10,000 gold, 4 Ectoplasms, and 1 Obsidian Shard. These prizes will be distributed to winners of surprise categories! Feel free to continue posting images, though. I will probably throw a couple into this thread for kicks and giggles. My thanks goes out to Shanaeri Rynale for publicizing my contest, the long list of many donors who so graciously gave their time and money to create an amazing prize for our winners, ArenaNet and Regina Buenaobra for listening to my idea and supporting me by posting it on the official Guildwars site, and of course a huge thanks to everyone who participated!! You guys turned my little idea into a raging success. I can't thank you enough! |
